Last updated: September 17, 2026

By using FicRoot, you agree to these terms.

Using FicRoot

FicRoot is a place to read and discover original stories and fanfiction. Please use the site lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt to access restricted areas, scrape the site at scale, or use automated tools in a way that harms the service.

Fanfiction and intellectual property

Fanfiction may refer to characters, settings, or other material owned by their respective rights holders. FicRoot is an independent fanfiction site and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any franchise, studio, publisher, or other rights holder unless explicitly stated.

Original writing and artwork on FicRoot remain the property of their respective creators. Do not reproduce or republish work from FicRoot without permission from the relevant rights holder, except where applicable law allows it.

Reader accounts and conversations

Use an email address you control and a username that does not impersonate another person or the site team. Keep passwords and verification codes private. Comments must not contain spam, harassment, threats, or someone else’s private information. You can report a comment for administrator review and remove your own comments. Administrators may remove comments that violate these rules.

Content concerns

If you believe material on FicRoot infringes your rights or violates the law, contact support@ficroot.com with the specific URL and enough detail for us to investigate. We may remove or restrict content while we review a report.

Availability and changes

FicRoot is provided as available. We may update, suspend, or remove parts of the site when necessary. We cannot guarantee that every page, story, or feature will always be available or error-free.

Links and third parties

FicRoot may contain links, analytics, or advertising supplied by third parties. Their sites and services have their own terms and privacy practices.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when FicRoot changes. Continuing to use FicRoot after an update means you accept the revised terms.
